18 inch wheels on SS NA

Is anyone using 18 inch SS/SC wheels on an SS/NA?
I was thinking about changing over to these on my car but Im afraid it
would screw up the ride and handling seeing how the suspension on mine isn't isn't really tuned for the 18 inchers. But on the other hand the size really that much of a difference, I have 205/50/17 tires and those are what 215/45/18?
I would think it would handle better but how harsh is the ride? I would think it would still be softer with those 18s on my car than on the SS/SC because they use different springs don't they?

I kept the 17's on mine for ride comfort. 455rocket, are you an Olds man?

i've got the 18" SS/SC rims on my SS/NA...no issues, the only thing is that the stock Pirelli's suck for tread life.

They are close in the style but I think the 18s are forged and the 17s are cast.
I don't know if it would be worth it its just something I was thinking about.

smlblkolds: yes Ive got a 77 cutlass with a 455 out of an older station wagon. its heavy as hell but its in the 14s. It sounds like Im not the only olds guy on here!

Vic Romano: Does it ride and handle pretty close to how it did with the 17s? What do you think
