Sadly, after reading about the Phase 5 Cobalt and seeing that Roush makes a couple of things, I can't find those items on their site, even when searching for the part numbers listed in the build book.
Also the cage Roush built is meant for a stripped out car and the cage goes through the dash. I was not prepared to rip apart my dash or gut my interior.

Funny how time changes everything. Almost a year later and I have totally done what my quote said I wasn't going to do. That is either progress or stupidity, your call.

how about lack of foresight?

is there another rollcage out will allow an install, but keep the dash together? i want to achieve joining the 150mph club out here when the SCTA comes out to the Salt Flats in August. I think it would be awesome. Bone stock I can easily get into the 120mph club within the 1 mile distance already allowed.

Autocrossing and mostly for running faster than 11.499 in the quarter mile...

I doubt you'll ever see a cobalt that's a streetable DD run this fast...Although Hahn seems to think they can get one into the mid 11's (LNF) we'll see.... These cars can't hook up well not matter what...

I'm just getting tired of all the hondas, and skittles running high 11's at over 117 mph with moderate modds and a turbo upgrade....

See how it works is he has so much power in his trunk, the air wave vibrations from his subs push air out of his trunk, like exhaust from a jet engine and propel him to his 11 second run at 394582092mph..

I call MAJOR bullshit. I'm willing to bet my stock 2.2 won't do quicker than a 16.

It would be hue of you to pull your head out of our ass and do a little research. I have a friend that ran his LT to a mid 15 1/4 with minor bolt-ons and at 4500 feet above sea level (not accounting for corrected altitude that can easily gets up to 11000 feet in his area). If you are that slow, then you should give up an racing. As for the buildbook he's referring to for a Cobalt that can go up to 1400hp/900tq, GM not only wrote the book, but built the car too. It is an NHRA drag car, the fastest fwd allowed in competition. It regularly runs 7's. No other fwd car in NHRA is that fast.

Here's the book: http://tunersource.gmblogs.com/Racer...mplete-web.pdf

why dont you pull your head out of your ass and show me proof that his "stock" ls is a high 13 sec, or better yet even a low 14 sec car. and if you believe that your an idiot! like you said, minor bolt ons, not stock, and you said mid 15, not high 13 low 14, i haVE AN LS, WITH MODS, AND IM NOT THAT FAST. i could care less what you say youve seen at the track, i drive one everyday. ya gm has a book just like everyone else on how bad ass you can build are cars, but they cant and wont tell you how to build a 600 hp car street legally. its not possible, all states have different laws. and the way he said it just sounded stupid, and gave me a laugh like his kill list
