A friend of mine gave me some wheels he used to use on his corvette so I could put some DRs on the. the problems are I have to get them drilled out. not really that hard. and I'm not sure if they're going to fit or i'll be able to turn. lol not sure what the offset is and am not real knowledgable about wheelsso if somone wants to tell me how to find the offset i'll measure it.

what's the offset? with that wide of tire you are going to need a smaller offset.

I dont know what the offset is but if somone want to tell me. how to find it i'll measure it out.

measuring the wheel like the pic posted below my depth comes to 7" +/- an 1/8"

nevermind I though that was the rim you were actually talkin about. so how many Milimeters is that?

not really sure I guess I could find a formula.

my guess from looking at that wheel is that it will hit your strut way before u get a lug on!

that's not my wheel. but actually min is deeper than that. I dont think it's going ot work without spacers. guess I'll just have to get some good tires instead.

they make wheel spacers for the 5x110 pattern.

you would need like 2in+ spacers to clear those id say

yeah then i wouldn't be ablt ot turn if i still had a bumper on my car.
when I held the wheels up as butting them up to the lugs I had a little over an inch until i hit the strut. so maybe 1" to 1.5" spacer would work.
who sells spacers for cheap I googled a whole bunch of stuf from adapters to spacers. I figured I could just order some adapters since the wheels are 5x114 then I could get them in 1.5" and wouldn't have to mill out the wheels.

I think it would be easier to get new wheels... Less work an safer I'd think?

Um, can you even put 8.5 size rims, even if it was spaced right, on this without it sticking out huge? Keep in mind these wheels are for corvettes, and our cobalts are a far cry from the suspension design on a corvette.
