will dyno my car tomorrow morning!

its just a 5 speed 06 ls coupe, 17''s, custom catback, which i'm still not sure about the gains...i dont know if the muffler was installed correctly lol, and a 'partial' airbox mod. you know how you take out the snorkel and the small box on top, and then the huge box underneath the snorkel? well i couldnt figure out how to get it out, so i only took the top box off. lol. so my car is pretty much stock.

i'm going to be upset if i have like 119 whp. because that is what my old 05 automatic cobalt had stock. it costs 65 dollars for 3 runs. after a while of saving, i will get the gm intake, and first change the muffler(probably go with a magnaflow universal, only straight through muffler i can think of that wont sound too bad and isnt expensive) and possibly the xtc downpipe. then dyno again. wish me luck..

No offense dude, but it is kind of a waste of time, money, and gas to dyno your car in the first place.

It is just my opinion... you can come on here and easily guess what your car will put down. No matter what anyone says or tells you, dynos are only for tuning. You can't tune your car so why dyno?

hey if you wanna know just do it, its not a waist of money if you want to see where your at and see if something that is done to the car could be hurting you, or if you want a good starting point to go buy for after you add some more parts

Look on here for a stock dyno and add 5-20hp for your mods.

The whole "starting point" makes no sense. Go to the track for that, your trap speeds will show if you are making more or less power.

Dynos are for tuning.

very good outlook about the track... honestly wait until you have more mods and can tune then go to the dyno

Sorry but having a base line is a very good and smart idea instead of guestimating your gains from start.

Do you guys work for intake and exhaust companies??? Do you have to report back what gains you guys get???

Dynos are for tuning.

well if nobody ever made a base line dyno and another after certain mods, nobody on here would know what the mods did. You can't really trust the company because the gains are always rediculously big because they do the baseline on a really hot humid day, or stuff like that.
