Dyno Day @ TAG

If anyone's interested $75 for 3 pulls and HP Tuners data logging is free. The date is this Friday (29th) all day. If you want AFR let them know in advance as they would need to install a bung.

same here and OUTPR4MZ seemed happy with his 250HP on their dyno.

I've never been to speeda so I can't comment there but I can say HP Tuners takes a little while to fully get the hang of.

if anyone wants to see what my car puts down just drop by on Friday

Hahha I'll see if I have some spare time...maybe come down and see how the balt's do on the dyno! hahah But probably won't be able to make it. My FMIC is possibly going on the car that day. If nothing happens, I'll give Ang a ring and see what's up.

Cheers,

HP tuners is no different than any of the software we have used really. Remember, we use sct, big stuff 3 and FAST

We have our software and I am working with the guys at Superchips to have some features added to my software to allow control of more paramets in order to tune these vehicles PROPERLY. This includes any injector, mass air, mass air housing diameter, etc

Not even GM writes proper calibrations with their staged tunes and we intend to reinvent the thought process behind tuning gm based vehicles

We also have one of the most accurate and reliable wideband's in the city, with sensors for leaded and un leaded gas that are calibrated every vehicle to ensure 100% precise readings

if this is even still goin on or if some of you cant make it for this,i suggest for anyone who has not been to steeda, go and meet paul and actually discuss the tuning process and tuning parameters he is also the largest and most reputable ford tuner, so if some of you guys are interested in goin to tag tomorrow but cant make it for watever reasons check out the steeda thread, peace boyz.

I think we need a "tune-off". Tag vs. Steeda. Give them each a Balt to tune, then settle it at TMP.

seems fair, but we'd need a cap maybe $5-10k for mods.

I think they have a handle on what it takes to tune cars

In terms of the Wideband sensor We only use Drilled in sensors to elimate any false readings that a tail pipe sniffer may give you
Our Wideband has done just fine for the numerous 1200rwhp cars we have tuned.

thanks
Jim
Oh By the way we made 260whp on Mase's Car today with the hp tuners and meth injection
stock exahust and header
I am not saying the software is inferior, I think it is great and love a lot of things about it. I am saying a lot of people past and present, including GM's performance division, and some people at HPT have a poor understanding of controlling a vehicles PCM, especially for a street car where drivability is the single most important factor. If these guys and GM guys have a good understanding of tuning vehicles, explain to me why they are scared of completly controling fueling through the mass air sensor? If they are so good, why do the improperly calibrate the PE and PE Enrichment tables to ATTEMPT to achieve a desired air fuel, which results in poor driving vehicles after it leaves the dyno?

I dont use a tail pipe sniffer and I know you guys do not either. I was simply stating the wideband we use is of high quality and the same wideband used by Ford on special projects.

Anyone can make HP by leaning out the air fuel and adding timing. Good job on mase's car BTW. Keep up the good work

Just out of curiosity, where did you adjust the fueling once you started spraying the meth....im assuming you tuned the car before you sprayed the meth.

No, not really. Charging someone $100 for a dyno with AFR and then the sniffer melts in the tailpipe isn't exactly what I came for that day. Not to mention I had to come back on two different occassions because a certain "someone" had their head buried into a Mustang (yes, the candy apple red one that's always on the hoist). I think I know the difference between a Civic and a 'Stang thanks.
