Friend got rear ended, check the pic

My friend was slowing down at a stop light and let off the brake a bit and tapped the lady in front of him, i wasnt there but in the picture it dosent look bad at all, my question is do you think a body shop could tap that out, or is she going to need a whole new rear bumper? Opinions? FYI she didnt file a police report, collect insurance info, take pictures, nothing. She did take his name and address and whatnot and called his house, but tech cant he get off easy if she says she wants a whole new bumper for that tiny little pimple dent? She has nothing to prove it was him now, no more information than you could get from the yellow pages.

With as small as that is it could be an easy DIY job, I would just sand, fill and paint. I've fixed worse on my cousin's car in a matter of a few hours before her parents got home to see it, ended up looking better than factory in the spots I fixed, wasn't metallic or pearl paint though.

Can you blame her? I'd want my car fixed right . She sounds like she was really cool about it , no police report or anything . The comment about "wondering if he could get off easy cause she cant prove anything " is kinda shitty , if i rear ended someone and they didnt get the authorities or insurance companies involved, id be man enough to take care of it . Hope your friend is too .

that little thing? bah... ingore it... that's not even enough damage to do anything about...

the thing that sucks about all new cars having plastic bumpers... you **** it up at all... it's pretty much done...

if the cops didn't come out... and no information other than name and address were exchanged... the lady's pretty much up **** creek... no real proof other than her word against his... and I don't think she'll want to take him to court over that...

tell him to cut her a check for some $$$ and tell her to go suck a lemon...
