The dyno day starts at 9am and costs $35 for 3 pulls.

We're meeting up at Walmart off Beach St. at 8:30am (3851 Airport Fwy, Fort Worth, TX 76111)
Leaving for Speedtek at 8:45am

Once we all dyno we'll be going to lunch at RJ Gators, right next to North East Mall (1101 Melburne Rd, Hurst TX)

 

i might be able to roll out there with ya. i just got in the k&n filter replacement. maybe i can do a run or 2 then install it then get a run with it installed. is this the one in arlington down from the krispy kremes? maybe we can meet at krispy k before hand and roll to it together, or somewhere else. lunch sounds good too.

I'll probably be getting there right around 9am, since it is really close to where I live.

Nope. My roommate is bringing his Formula, and a few other guys may come with their Camaro and Corvette. We're trying to get him to dyno his '89 Honda Accord We always end up seeing at least a few people we know at these things.

 

Is there a list or first come, first served kind of deal? Will they do a pull on all cars or will people be turned away even if they waited all day?

 

It's first come, first served which is why I'll be there right at 9am. I've never seen them not get through all the cars before. But they have a Dyno Day on the last Saturday of every month so it's pretty well attended, lots of people know about it.

I'm not sure what direction everyone is coming from or I would say we could meet up at 8:15/8:30 and all drive in together. I don't want anyone to have to drive farther out of their way to meet up..

 

is there anything thats a intersection or two away we could meet at? like a gas station or shopping center(walmart/grocery store) that way its not really out of the way but a few blocks away.

 

Yeah there is a Wal-Mart 2 miles down at Beach St. & 121 we could meet in that parking lot.

 

Im just going to drive straight there and get in line. I'll do my best to get there as close to 9am as possible.

 

That area is more or less in an industrial park isn't it? I tried to go there to buy plugs but kept getting the run-around when I ordered them. Wound up getting them online instead. I'll be there as early as I can make it. Maybe I'll get a tint to see how much RWH that yields......... Oh and I'll have to put on some of my stickers, that should be good for another 5 HP.


Hey Will, I know exactly where that dyno shop is if you want to caravan out of Irving out there.

 

 

ill prolly be at a friends fri night so i will head straight from there. its about half the drive.

Okay let's get a vote on lunch, who all will be staying for lunch and where do you want to eat? Really the closest restaurants are by NorthEast Mall so that's probably where we'll go. Here are some choices: RJ Gator's, Red Robin, Friday's, Chipotle, Bennigan's, Chili's, Olive Garden, or Mi Pueblo. Any preferences? Once we decide I will update the first post with all the details.

That Hooter's sucks ass. We never go there anymore because you'll never get a seat. Plus last time we were there all the girls working were either fat or sans *****.
