I want to eventually purchase a pair of racing seats for my ss/sc. The only problem I face with this is that i'm 5'5". I'm very short and as it is, I have the seat cranked up as high as it can go and still barely see over the steering wheel (its a funny sight to see too). I'm afraid that if I do purchase racing seats, I will not be able to even drive my car anymore because I won't be able to see over the steering wheel. I have two questions:

Do they make racing seats that are height adjustable?

If not, is there any way to make the seat sit higher? As in maybe buying a taller bracket or bolting two brackets on top of each other?

 

you can block up the new brackets with metal blocks (if you can get them made) and use
longer bolts to hold the bracket down
