Traction rant

Ok my friend has a srt4 with intake,Exhaust,Bov,and motagie tracklights and he went to track the track tonight and rand a 13.9 with a 2.2 60ft at 99mph and the best i chould do is 14 with a 2.6 60ft at 104, man i hate not having traction. that was before my new rubber so i am hoping for better times. But anyway now he wont stop talking **** so i guess i need to run again and improve my driving.

yea id say, especially with those mods...a good .5 goes bye bye (assuming you are talking 14.0 flat) traction issues solved and you could see 13.4-13.3s considering your trap speed. (traction bars, mounts, dampner)

Wow, that is an extremely high trap speed. Take it a bit easier in 1st and slip the clutch a bit while shifting into 2nd, don't slip it too much, just a tad bit so you don't spin while going into second and that should help out a lot. I've smoked second gear before on accident, i didnt realize how powerful the car was, the tach went straight up to 6500 rpm and smoke was everywhere.

yeah man you definately have the trap speed for a better time. U need to invest in a traction mod. I bought ZZP engine motor mount AND Intense Transaxle Mounts before i started modding just because whats the point of having power if u arent getting it to the ground.
