Who in the STL Area Wants a Custom Tune by Rob?

Hey guys! I'm trying to get Rob to come down and tune my car at Gateway. He will come down, if we can get atlease ONE 2006 SS/SC to agree to get a tune also. You would get a full custom tune, TRACK PROVEN! I've spent alot of money in gas going back and forth to Indianapolis for him to tune my car, since he's such a great tuner! I don't have the money to drive up there, but my car is in a desparate need for a re-tune, since the addition of my header. So please, I know there has to be atleast ONE person that will agree to a custom tune! Remember, even bone stock SS/SC's have seen a .4 drop in et, and +4mph in trap after just one of his tunes! So who's in for a custom track proven tune?

Sweet! It costs a little more for an 05, only because he has to purchase credits from HP Tuners, but don't worry! You'll be pleased!

how long does it take him to do the tune ? at the track ?

also is there a way to reverse it im planning on buying a tuner for the st.louis chapter of cobaltss.net

is there a way that rob can store the stock ecu readings so when i decide to drop the cash for the hptuner that he can email me the stock ones so if people need to go to gm for warrenty. i know these are some noob questions but im a noob to tuneing

He can do a full tune within a couple minutes. If he makes tweaks on top of that, it'll only be a few minutes more. You'll have to ask Rob on the other questions, because I'm not sure.

We don't have the exact time yet, but I'm thinking the Tuesday following this one. We could just meet at Gateway, and then he could tune everybody's car there. I think it's $100.00 if you have a 2006, and $200.00 if you have a 2005 since he would have to buy credits. It's well worth it though.

UPDATE: The date is Tuesday, October 10th-one week from this Tuesday. We're going to meet at Gateway International Raceway at 5:00pm. When we get there, we'll get tech'd in, get our armbands, and then get all of our cars tuned! Don't forget, if you have a 2005 SS/SC, it's $200.00 because Rob has to buy credits from HP Tuners, and if you have a 2006, It's $100.00. Don't miss this! There's nobody in this local area right now who can tune these like Rob can! If you're wanting to add mods, do it before the 10th, and then you can get your setup dialed in when Rob is here. Is this list accurate so far as to who's going?

1. Bad06SS
2.05BlackCobaltSS
3.Poppagun
4.Blown06
5.
6.

Who else?

Hmm, I might have to make the drive...

I am thinking about just getting my stock car tuned.
Is he going to have enough time to tune us all?

Yes, he'll have time. I don't think he's going to race his car, so he'll just be tuning ours.

You can technically raise it as high as you want, but I would shift before ~7200rpms. I think he'll set it somewhere between ~7200-7600rpm's. Just shift at 7, you'll be fine.

He'd be happy to talk to you! We're going to have a blast! Don't forget too, if you need an "updated" tune later for additional mods you've added, I don't think he charges anything for updates. As I told SSmacky, out of all the modding I've done to my car, tuning is the most beneficial.

I am just wondering what the IDC would be with the stock injectors though. From what I have heard, they are pretty much maxed from the factory, whose stock car has he tuned? I want to ask them some questions. Thanks.

He's tuned several stock ones. As long as you're still on the stock supercharger pulley, you're fine. Just be there Tuesday, and Rob can explain it all to you. Trust me, you'll be fine.
