I am I am! You guys should at least come out and watch. We were talking about it at the track tonight, sounds like there actually might be a pretty decent turnout for a change.

I have only one problem...I do not have a functional trunk. So all the **** that's in there is stuck in there. Soooooooooo if anyone knows of any way in which to access a trunk when both the trunk popper thingies AND the lock don't work....I'm desperately in need of ideas.

If all else fails we can have a trunk prying party at my place!

You SHOULD be able to drop my a chevy dealer ( or pontiac ) and they should be able to fix it. That's a safety issue since you need to get in there to get your spare.

Hell, hit the OnStar button and talk to them... they might be able to help. That's what you pay them the big $$ for.

Is that a confirmed public event? Last I looked at their website it still said "members only" for the 22nd. Besides that's the weekend is the Columbus meet, so I doubt there'll be a big turnout.

Well, I dunno in thinking further it wouldn't work cause I wouldn't want R-comps in the rain. If it's just looking like a rainy morning, I'll run the R-comps in the hopes of having a sunny afternoon. Meaning the Neros will be off my car. If you want to run the Neros, go for it.

I'm not opposed to meeting at my place either for the people coming up from 30. I'm trying to think of someplace close where we can all meet without backtracking too much. Monroeville would be a good spot as well. Could even do breakfast at Panera if anyone feels like it.

 

the only thing I have to say is that I don't want to go out thru Wilkinsburg and everything again... even if that's not any longer.. it feels it, and I hate the lights.

I would rather meet in Monroeville and grab the pike there. Panera is there as well... that's fine by me.

Well, I will bring my camera, but I know that it's a pain to try to take pics unless you're not running.

There's a chance that I could have some visitors ( I think I said that... ) so I might be able to talk them into taking a few pics. I don't count on them coming ( have yet to so far ) but you never know.

 

Desktop or laptop? I have a PCMIA firewire/usb card you can use if it's a laptop.

BTW Brian, I just got off the phone with Melissa and my trip to State College next weekend is looking like a no-go too so I might be up for some SCR cone-killin'.

I had someone on Race PA say that I might want to stay in stock class, becuase they don't see that car being competitive in SM, STX without dumping a boatload of cash in it, and making the car not commuter friendly...

I agree to a point.. don't think the car could be a WINNER here based on what cars DO win here, but I think it has the potential to be a front runner...

 

The video camera has USB but that is for still pictures only. Video needs firewire. This was before USB 2.0 came out. My dads computer downstairs has Firewire, I will rip them off down there and then send them up to mine. It's a desktop so a PCMIA wouldn't work.
