looks about like what a cloe to stocl 1.8t runs against a cobaltss with airbox mod and pulley . but the gti sounds a lot like a vr6 24v I'll look into it on the vortex and see what I can find.

I retract my previouse statment it's a 1.8t the boost gauge on the steering column in the second video is a dead givaway that was a fast balt. he had some work done the gti was pushing around 20 psi which means he's at least chipped and a chipped gti runs just a little fast than a cobalt stock.

chipped 1.8t, exhaust, cai, pretty much all the "bolt ons" will run dead even with a SS S/C with stage 2 from a dig. I didn't watch the videos but if they're doing it from a roll, the ss should be a good amount quicker, especially since the K03 runs out of steam after 6k.

must be my crappy lap top speakers giving it a little extra rumble. regardless I'm pretty sure I know what a vr sounds like.

even stock for stock, SS/SC are faster, but the gti's DSG is so fast in terms of shifting...thats the only model u can compare to the SS/SC
the 6speed is like 7 seconds to 60mpg

I'm not sounding liek a jerk or anything just informing you incase you didn't know turbo cars dont have headers. so his exhaust comes off the manifold where the turbo is to a downpipe off the turbo (which he could have called a header, even though it's one pipe) to the rest of the exhaust so he probably had a 3" down pipe, and some sort of 3" catback from the tone maybe a TT.
most gti guys dont go and get dyno tuned if they're only running those mods what he has is a tune much like our reflashes from either Revo or a similar company whos name escapes me at the moment.

either way good kill I'm guessing you're running a pulley less than 3"

GIAC, APR, Neuspeed Opticon, Revo and EIP are a few that come to mind

Yea, i've never heard any 1.8t guys getting custom tunes. I know that on certain setups in the older cars like the x-flow TT will do a custom burn based on fuel maps and A/F ratios. If that car was a VR, it would have gotten spanked much harder...I have both right now. Unless of course it was a turbo VR then C-YA!!!!
