Well, the schedule I had proposed was 11-1 at the shop and then run over to a local eatery accross the street, so I guess theres no set time for that to end...

But 2:45 and then a drive from central IL might be a little unrealistic...

Ya, Its a bit of a drive for me, 145 Miles. but I will definately be there, so like..ya. lets make this a full day type event. id hate to drive 2 1/2 hrs, only to hang out for an hour or 2......its kind of like those mail order brides...you think its worth it..only you failed to read the disclosure that by pressing submit your signing a prenup, and she divorces you 2 hours later.

.....disapointment.

 

I dunno, its like anything outside the chicagoland area, is like the boonies and no one is really willing to go outside the box. No offense to anyone.

Anyway, I will try and be there. I need to get all these bug splatters off my car from last weekend.

 

Count me out from this one. I've already got plans that'll take up the whole day..Just make sure all of you take lots of pics and vids so I can see how good the meet was.

 

damn! ever since i joined this forum, i've been dying to attend a meet. I live in waukegan, only about 40 minutes away (nice quick little road trip). however, i have to attend a class this saturday for my motorcycle license, i would just reschedule it, but i've had this class booked since march.....damn!

 

its too late in the season for that anyways, i have a motorcycle i never took the class, because like you said its near impossible to get in one! i actually rode it to the last meet i was at, but this meet is a little to far for that, and im sure it will be a bit chilly now

 

meh...i just can't say screw the class. it's not like i'm worried about my $20 i paid for it, it's just that i booked it so far in advance, and i don't know if i'll have another chance to do it. I recently enlisted in the Air Force and should be leaving by christmas.....needless to say i want to get my motorcycle license before i leave...one less obstacle i have to worry about later on.
