Registration for IDD VIII has been extremly light. Of the 70 or so people who comitted to going we only have 23 actual paid attendees. We can afford to take a couple hundred dollar loss if we don't get the 80 people we need to break even on this event but we will not be able put on this event without at least 65-70 cars.

Remember this is not just some private track rental. This is Norwalk at its finest with the best track prep available. With traction like this and presumedly some pretty good air there will not be a better time to race this year.

I have moved the registration deadline to October 26th, 2006. If we do not have enough cars by this time we will be forced to cancel the event. We decided to do this event because enough people asked for it and we felt it would be great to oblige our customer base however we are far short of the intial comittment.

Only 1 more day to sign up to make this event happen. If your interested in going and want to race at the best track in a 5 state area with awesome track prep you need to jump on this now.

Today is the final day for registration. I have had many people ask if they can send in a little more money to help ensure this happens. To help facilitate this I have added a PAYPAL donate button (that also accepts credit cards for those without paypal accounts) on the main page of our website at www.INTENSE-Racing.com .

I have also had some people ask if they can pay at the gate the day of. We will not have anyone collecting money at the gate. The fact of the matter is we did not even intend to put on this event this fall but based on the 11 pages of people wanting it to happen and the 70+ confirmations that said we were going to attend we went ahead with it. When we opened official registration we had 21 people sign up and not until we stated we may have to cancel the event so as not to lose money did we even get a real showing of people sign up. Even now we are light and we can not count on those people who say they may or may not show up and may or may not pay at the gate. If we do not have enough paid upfront racers by this afternoon then we will be forced to cancel this event.
