For those of you who dont frequent the "Intense" Board
It's official,
IDD returns for a fall event, heres the details
"Due to popular demand, we have worked out a potential date with Norwalk Raceway Park of Friday, November 3, 2006. No weekend dates are left until 2007, and this is the last remaining Friday.
This would be a no frills private track rental, with the traction you've come to expect at IDD events.
There will be no race classes, no bracket race, no awards and no rain date - just a test and tune session with killer traction.
Our cost is ~ $4,000 to do this right. By doing it right I'm talking about Norwalk's famous 660' wall to wall VHT and dance floor rosin mixture every two hours. We will be charging $50 per vehicle, nothing for spectators, and no refunds would be given.
We would need 80 cars signed up in order to break even. If we aren't able to get that many registrants within a week or two, we'd just refund everyone's money.
Everyone will be welcome to attend, and I know this will be a great time for all. Who's in? Please post here in this thread if we'll see you there, so we can try to determine if the 80 racer requirement is realistic"-Scott Cook, Intense Racing

I am going to TRY to make this one, but i have to work on the tranny before i comit... Pushed a stck non HD tranny hard enough (IMO) @ M11, and dont want to push the car back from Noralk
From what i understand it is preregister/prepay only (waiting confirmation), gates @ 9am, unlimited runs between 10a & 4p.
This isnt a "normal" IDD (no prizes, awards, trophies, etc), but promises to be just as fun.
For those of you who HAVENT been to Norwalk, it's prob. on of the best tracks I have been to...

I'm registered, i'll be there. I got to get my new personal best, since Dragway 42 sucked, here I come Norwalk traction. Also got to support the great guys at Intense. I got Stage 4 and love it. Also I think they will have the Turbo GTP up there trying to get their record back.
