My service air bag light came on so I took it to the dealer. The wire harness underneath the passenger side seat became pinched in the slider track. This is fixable under warranty. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Lots of people miss the fact that there's no "E" in the NWS animation...

RUN, do not walk to your dealer and get it fixed. Please don't mess around with saftey related problems, someone could get hurt! It should be a warranty repair.

And by Not work safe. What do they mean by that?

 

Could mean many things, but more often than not it's just another way of saying "*****".

 

What if we have a **** load of mods done to our car and the light comes on? Do you think the dealer would void the warrenty?

 

Unless you did something foolish like splice into a airbag harness, nothing you do should have anything to do with your warranty. The airsack system is seperate from all the other systems in your car.

My Service Airbag light came on also. The dealer said, my passenger window was out of alignment and pinched the wire in the door. Minor problem but a pain. So the dealer fixed my problem and create another, they broke the hatch in the arm rest. I am looking for a new dealer. Everytime I take my car in, the dealer breaks something else.
