New pics of my car

I just joined and this is the Cobalt I bought. These are some photos of my car, it was getting kind of dark outside. The last couple pictures is of my grill that I made and installed. Now I need to take of the bowtie and install the SS. You can kind of see the clips I used.

Nice ride. I could not decide on silver, black, orange, or yellow. The old lady liked the yellow so I said ok but I'm diving it!

Do you have any pics of your new grille from far away, witht he whole car? Did you paint it or just leave it exposed metal? I'm thinking about doing the same and would like to get some ideas for what it looks like. Its hard to tell if I like it in your pics, looks really transparent. Thanks.

Silver is seriously the best looking color to me. Kick ass ride. Take good care of her.

I will take another picture tomorrow morning in some good light of the car from far away, it was dark so I had to get close. I just left the metal plain and did not paint it. The sheet I bought at Home Depot was like 3' by 8' and was $6. So it was virtually free and I have alot left. But it is sharp as hell, so wear gloves because I have cuts all over my hands. And dont worry, this car will look new until they day I get rid of it or if something more unfortunate happens. I am selling my 99 Prelude now and it looks brand new.

Well the bottom grill I took right from the "how To" section, and it took a total of 5 minutes. The top part is not real heard but I tried a couple different things. I took the whole stock grill and cover out, which is very simple, and cut everything out of the middle where the grill is and left the whole outer edge, you could leave the piece that is behind where the bowtie is but I took it out. On the plastic grill, I need to take pictures, I drilled about 8 or 10 holes and used the same type of clips that hold in the cover to hold in the grill. To be careful, I also tie strapped it. For the bottom grill on the top, it is held in place by the edge of the plastic grill I didnt cut out, and both screens are attached in the middle by the bolts from the bowtie. I had to bend and mold both pieces of metal, which was the longest part. If you bend and cut it right, it almost stays in place with nothing holding it there, then you secure it. That is alot to read without pictures, maybe I can get some pics up today when I get home from work. It looks real clean since they are the same clips the car already uses.
