My door is closed properly but damn I can't get out of the drivers side . After I locked and unlocked the car a few times the handle felt stiffer and was able to get out And NO the locks weren't enabled, I mean I just backed up soo they dont engage when you back up! Sorry ya your right they do lock even when you back up, doh!! but no I was truly fubar for a minute!!! the door handle was very loose and it felt disingaged from the rest of the car... It was truly odd indeed but never happened b4 .. Whenever I have a passenger I have to tell them they have to unlock the door in order to get out if the cars still running or I unlock it for them, (love those moments ).. Thanks for the reply's everyone...

And no I'm not blonde , grey or silver in some parts yes....

You need the remote to disengage the alarm, the key shouldnt set the alarm off only if you pull the manual lock from outside the car. Am I right guys?

But the auto lock sure is a hassle. Especially when your on a date, girls get creeped out by it. LOL Maybe im just creepy hehe

That horn beeping when you unlock it with the key is cause you've set the factory alarm when you locked it and now your getting in the car without turning it off first. If you push the lock button twice the horn will beep that is the factory alarm, once set if you open the doors with the key and don't turn off the alarm first it will beep at you. Now if you ever go out to your car and hit the unlock button and the horn beeps 3 times at you that means that someone screwed with the car while you were gone and the alarm had sounded to scare them off. Its your cars way of saying "Someone touched me while you were gone just thought you'd like to know."

Anything else?

How about you letting your car go through the car wash 60 miles away from your home and the dumbasses at the wash leave your car running and the door lock on them.
They had to shut down the car wash and wait until a police officer came with a slimjim to unlock my car.
I ended up with a free wash and free exterior detail for the hassel. Not Bad Huh.

Too bad i'll never bring my car their again.

This happened to my car last winter and spring. it was so intermittent that the dealer never got an opportunity to deal with it. We shall see what happens when it gets colder again this year.
