I dont personnally have those tires, but they have broken all the records on the skid pad both wet and dry cornering. My friend has them and loves them, the noise encountered at higher speeds is easy to get over when taking in to consideration the performance of the tire. I will definately be buying those when I get new tires. Just my .02

I have them. And love them.
They dont make much noise at all and they kill the stock tires big time.

They do ride a bit stiffer then the stockers.

But the best part is that they cost less then the stock tires!
And out perform them. They should have been stock if you ask me.

I have a buddy I auto-X w/ and the KWD tires put down some very impressive times... we took his car (acura integra)to lunch and IMO they were VERY noisey. Regardless of the noise I am considering these as my street competition tire.

I think they put the stock Pirelli's to shame on the track.

KWD's are a hard tire to beat for the money.... anything better (michelin Pilots are big $$$$$).
the only cheaper tire I am considering is the KUMHO SPT's... I had them on my Neon R/T and they kicked ass.... but, the R/T had 55hp less. So I don't know how they will handle the power.

Let us know what you get and how you like whatever they are.

If $$ is no object then: http://www.toyocanada.com/products/ProxesT1R.asp

I'm going with these. These are a top tier tire like the Rosso's - the KDW is a lower tier. The Rosso's have a tread wear rating of 200 wheread the T1R's are 320, so they will last a little longer.

they are pretty decent in the rain, noisey after they begin to wear, can pull all crazy directions after they start to wear, flat spot after sitting overnight, and wear out really fast. i wouldn't get them. check out this thread...

Here's a few of the cheaper all season choices in the 225/40/18 sizes for you guys. they range from $74.00 to i think $115.00. i personally like the Avon's (2nd from the bottom) and the Sumitomo's (middle picture). i've had the sumitomo's before and they are quiet and have pretty good wet traction and my buddy has the avon's on his audi tt and he loves them. hope this helps you out.

with all due respect to u cobalt guys, anything is an upgrade from the stock pirellis. If those are the same tires that come on the stock srt4 then yes ive tried them. They are great for the strip, suck in the rain, dont turn worth a damn, and eventually chunk off like old hankooks.

235's will probably rub on stock wheels. as i stated before i really like the sumitoma's and the avons listed above. for you guys into bikes i'm sure you've heard of avon tires. but anyway tires are like most anything else you get what you pay for.
