I'm hoping to be down there if my Cobalt arrives in time, might go even if I don't have it yet for one last beating of my cavalier.

I go every year and wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll be there Aug. 18-21. I went ahead and added the Dream Cruise on the Calendar on the website.

I'll be there at least Friday and Saturday. Hopefully my 2006 SS will be in by then. If not, I'll still be out there in my '95 Camaro. Let me know if you guys are meeting up somewhere.

Yes it is fastly approaching. WE NEED TO DECIDE! Gm has a tent there every year. Maybe we should try to park near it. I don't know where it's going to be this year but if anyone does let us know.

They put there setup by a cemetary least year. Kinda creepy. :lol: That would be the optimum spot for the fact that there is ample parking if they let SS/SC in there.

It looks as if they are going to be near the same place on saturday. In birmingham near where old woodward splits off. Pick a time, I might be able to come out there too, not sure exactly what time I'm going to canada though, lol.

I don't know if anyone is intrested but a few of us Red Line owners are meeting at Sumerset Mall on Saturday at 11am and then are heading out to the cruise. We are meeting on top of the South East parking structure. I'm told it's the taller of the two.

Hope to see some SS's out there on Woodward.

its gonna suck if its raining. but im going to go down any way. just a word unless some one is like going down tonight (tonight being friday) or realy eirly saterday morning like 6:30AM. their is not going to be mutch parking. But me and my dad are going to try to get next to the gm thing. im going down at 7AM. hope to see some cobalts ss and redlines down their. ( not sure ware the gm thing is going to be at maby some 1 will know) it was just south of 13 mile last year i think)

I was down there crusing tonight. The Chevy tents/ display area is in Birmingham on the South-bound side directly across the street from the Borders book store. Funny story I pulled my car in there by going through back allys and left it there for a while in the Chevy exhibit. Then after about an hour I saw GM security personell around my car and then some guy on a golf cart was like "Who's Cobalt is this." They said that I had to move my car or it would be towed cause that is reserved for invitations only. lol. Anyways I'll be stopping by there again tomorrow and I'll be cruising too. I have no clue where I'm going to park but it will be right with my friends 2001 Red Monte Carlo with custom 17" black and chrome wheels. My car is red with Ohio plates that will read COBLT SS. I also have Cobaltss.net decals on my side windows so make sure you give a shout out if you see me. Later.

Hey seadea where about clarkston do you live? i live rite by the high school i have a Black ss if you cant tell from my name. btw go park down on the old part of woodward anytime around 10:30 and you will run into me and a few other friedns with our cobalts plus alot of other dam fast cars. hope to see you there

Where was everybody? I saw 1 Cobalt (a yellow 06 SS) parked on a side street north of 14 mile, and that was it! I drove from 16 down to 14 and walked up to 15, down to 11 and back and didn't see anybody.

by the way, I got a pic of that one, it's in the Cobalt album (http://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/showimage.php?i=1388&c=newimages) and if you are it's owner I'll email you the pic, since I was driving at the time it's kinda got my side mirror in the shot though ;)

the dream cruze was a BLAST!!!! i have so many pictures of all kind of cars. i got like all of the cars at the chevy place. i was gonna get some pictures of my red ss but it was raining on top of the parking complex hehe. but any way i saw like 4 other ss. i reved it every time i saw a cobalt ss or a ion redline. most reved it back but not every one was paying attention. didnt see any ss parked any ware. but i was parked back with the ritch boys and ther porshes back behind the chevrolet site. but it was a blast ill have my pictures posted with in a few days.

bump. I only seen one cobalt ss. it was blue I think? The guy seen me and I seen him. We both waved at each other.. we were going opposite ends of the road. If anyone is going to swing by again tomorrow on woodward lets make up a crusing spot to all meet up. I would be down. My car is the red one without the valance on the back, (eventually I will get my new one on, it's waiting at the dealership but I've been too lazy :lol: ) with cobaltss.net lettering on the side and crazy dark ass tint.

I advertised for us tonight doing burn outs and informing people to visit this forum if they were CSS diehards. :cssNET:

that yellow cobalt most likely belong's to the man who runs the plant at wich our cobalts are made down in ohio....hes a personal friend of mine and he drives a yellow cobalt its the only yellow one i've seen down at woodward.

The other yellow one I saw was most likely your friends because it had a GM manufacturors plate from Ohio and it had the GM badges, meaning it's an '06, and it had a GM Demo bar code on the front windshield.

That's the one I saw, I didn't notice the barcode when I was driving by and couldn't figure out what it was in my photo!

WOODWARD WAS AMAZING!! like a 5 hour drive from Ohio but way worth it ill be looking foward to next year

I didn't see but a single yellow SS/SC out there. You were heading south, right about to go under I-696...... :nuts:
I was out there from about 11-4 then went back to troy. Later on I went up towards Pontiac. Once it got dark the people got nuts up there, burnouts everywhere..... I went down to royal oak after they "closed" Woodward to grab a bite then went back out . :D
Got in some good "fun" with my buddies.
I so wanted to run one of the SS/SC cars though...... ;)
