This is such a sexy car that could be nasty, it just doesn't want to be.
It's like a father giving his son his multi-million dollar business and the son says no!
Um...I think I predicted this. Only the start...

Todd from Intense told me that Rob did end up selling his car for financial reasons. Thats why they are looking for a sponsor car. I'm sure everyone remembers the fund the site had going for him to try and help him save his car. I could have misunderstood but I think Rob's car is gone. That's 1 of 2 12 second cars gone.

Some of you guys either need to calm down, or this is your first time modding a car. These cars can be made fast, you just have to take the time/money to do it right. These cars need proper tuning/supportive mods just like any other car. The motors are more than capable of handling more power than any of us will probably ever need. The transmissions have proven to be fine for the most part, it's the clutch and axles that are weak. If these cars are modded and tuned properly-they're fine. They are hard to launch, so it will take practice. Most of the faster guys have not posted as much because of the drama.
well i should be int he 12's soon, but who knows, and ill tell you 5 grand cnd in, you sitll wanna pile more in, but i dont post crazy amounts, as i for one am tired of ppl who think they know it all

Potential is all a matter of how much money you have.
hey number one I'm not a kid... I"ve been doing this for about 12yrs now.. so I know if a platform has what I need... this one doesn't... so I"m stocking it out for now

I can understand stuff like maybe the sunroof switch going bad or stupid stuff. The main thing to remember is that this is a $20k economy car, so there will be stuff go wrong. As for the reliability, if things are done properly, it should be very reliable. My car is pretty heavily modded, and I can rely on my car daily to go to work. The only issue I have had is with the clutch, and only at the track.
as with mine... I've had no issues... minus the axles... but I"m seeing a trend going on and its sickening.. that and the fact that I fix/strip everyone's cars around by me...I need a break

I love my car and dont see that i will sell it any time soon. Some people just have to dish out alot of cash for this car to be a "Durable and Dependable" car. That comes with the trritory of modding any car. Ive dished out lots of money for my Mustang GT so it doesnt blow on me....and it still has the stock block. But it has messed up on me countless times reminding me that its a FIX OR REPAIR DAILY (FORD). But that doesnt discourage me. For the most part modding any car will never be easy now because cars are getting more technological and everything throws a cell not just for Balts, but for lots of others too. And think of how Honda and Acuras feel. Sometimes they have to dish out lots of cash for the same reasons we do. Because it ay blow, or axles break, or block doesnt hold over 350 hp w/o internal work. Thats doesnt discourage them and make them want to get rid of their cars. And the STi's only hold 350 hp and then have to do internals also. Thats not that big of a difference from Cobalts...like 50 hp. more hold on their block. All im saying is that is you dont want your car to mess up...dont buy an under 23000K sports econobox. If your intentions were to run fast 1/4 mile times with huge amount of hp....buy a car with a bigger block. Whether it be a Mustang or a Camaro or a Transam.....it will hold alot more hp on the block and you wont have to worry about problems from many sports compacts.

GM's cobalt runs 11's @ 120+mph, so I'm not sure what you mean. If it's not the fact that the car can't do it, maybe it's just that you don't want to take the time and spend the money to make the car do it(what you're wanting it to do)?
