IIRC, Brembo doesn't make brakes for our car. There is a company called SSBC that makes them and I also think that you can get either Baer or Wilwood. Not many people have them since they are a $2k+ investment....

damn dude you are mighty impatint! 5 minutes isn't en ough time for someone to answer. i'd bet very few member have brembo brakes on their car considering they are several thousand bucks. they are however excellent brakes! ssbc, wilwood and Baer are a few other awesome aftermarket brake companies. i don't know if they make anything for the cobalt though. the other option would be upgrading the stock rotors and pads. you should be able to get the stock brakes pretty good IMO they really aren't all that aweful compared to most other stock braking systems with the exception of the ebrake.

incorrect link there joe......it's www.ssbrakes.com and i changed my username too Ya I do work here.....I might be getting rid of my car(depending on how subaru treats me when i go there) so I might be able to sell you the front and rear kit off my car. It's used but I can get you new rotors, pads and hardware. The only thing that would be used is the calipers(they are powdercoated black). If I end up keeping the car I could probably get you SOME kind of discount.......

Well if you are deadset on the whole new rotors/caliper upgrade then its' your money. Though, if you just want to try a rotor and pad upgrade stoptech makes some kickass brake rotors. Have them on my T/A and it helped a bunch after slowing down on the dragstrip. Used to have to use the engine and go down the second cooldown lane and now I can get it shut down by the first.

Well, where in New York do you live? I might just take them off and put the stockers back on. I could always use the extra cash. Pretty much it's all up to you. I'd rather have someone else get them rather than the subaru dealer lol. Make me a reasonable offer THROUGH PM and Ill think about it.

Our stock brakes are one of the best out there! But if your not happy with them then thats all that matters. SSBC makes a great system but have you looked at the EBC stuff? They make pads and rotors for our cars that should almost double the factory braking ability from how it did on my old Cavi. I also think HAWK has some stuff out too.

If your upgrading your rotors and pads you might as well spend another $100 and get Stainless Steel Brake Lines
