SS/SC Power Windows
SS/SC Power Windows
I noticed probably a couple weeks after i got my 06 ss/sc that the automatic window in the driver side goes up way faster then the passenger side. In most cars its the exact opposite, which is that the non automatic window goes much faster.
I thought mayb it was that the battery was not powerful enough because when i do one at a time there much faster. Also when i have the lights off and the radio off. Has anyone else had this problem or replaced the stock battery for too little power to the electronics

FOR EXAMPLE - Those pirelli tires that cost 320 dollars each are horrible. They were only on there to increase the price of the the $1200
noticed the same thing...i installed little turbos on mine...they help but the lag sucks, thinking on twincharging over the winter
but seriously...yeah, same issue with the windows, probably the wiring and the pull on the battery.
here is another issue. after you take the key out the radio plays until you open the driver door. you can open and close the passenger door all you want and it wont kill the radio. i like that.
what i dont like is that if you take the key out you can open and close the windows until either door is opened. so im putting windows up and my buddy gets out of the car, the radio keeps going but the window stops. wonder why they wouldnt wire them together??

cobalt isn't the first and i'm sure it isn't the last car that has this issue (can't really call it a problem) my firebird did the same thing. Also, remember that compared to sedans, the windows are heavier. Current takes the path of least resistance. I am willing to bet that there is less wire to one side than the other.
