I just got HP Tuners and I have a question? When I step on the gas the Power Enrichment takes time too kick in? Is there anything in the program I have too change too get the Cobalt too go into open loop faster???? I have been playing with the HP Tuners for 2 days and can't figure out how too change it???? :cussing:

I dont know exactly what you mean,. Power enrichment is your air fuel ratio, Why are you trying to get the open loop faster? rephrase please

Well its takes a couple of seconds for PE too kick in when you hit the gas at 100% throttle....My buddys RL does it right away alot faster then mine is there something I have too change in the program (Hp Tuners)....???????? Thanx :cussing:

alot of calibrations have not only a tps vs. rpm delay, but an rpm delay, a map delay, a delay timer in second, etc.

I would first say to post your file so we can take a look at it to see whats going on...and if you don't like the answer we give put a feature request in for the parameters/tables you believe you need access to.

I know with most ls1 based vehicles you just need to set the rpm delay to 0 & then it goes off of the tps vs. rpm table only.

There is an enrichment rate setting which determines how long it takes for the desired enrichment to be reached. Also our PE enable RPM/MAP on our stock flash is set by the "Delay RPM" and "Power Enrich Enable Map" values on the Power Enrich menu.

perfectly stated. to expand on this, heres some example numbers

engine->fuel control->power enrich:

MAP: 15 (pe only from good idle)
Delay RPM: 0 (ie. no delay)
Enable RPM: 0 (ie. no delay)
Enrichment rate: 2.0 (max enrichment rate)
PE enable hot: 70's all way way seem to work well. this is to say, 70% peddle will give you WOT.

now when it comes to tuning otherthings and you need to "turn off" PE, just move the 'enable rpm' values to max.
