Okay! i know this is a SS forum but i still have to ask and see i'm having the hardest time deciding between the SS and the SRT-4! Now the resons why i am having such a hard time is because i have always been a GM person i have always liked em and also i love the interior of the ss, and that right from the dealer the ss looks better on the outside too! and im sure there are going to be alot of mods for the ss as well!! SRT-4 the upsides for it for me are that its turbo, its very upgradeable its been around for a bit and people had experence with them but i have always hated dodge alot of people i no had problems with them in the past! but now i dont hear about the problems and also i have been on there forum and asked the same question. i have read alot too on how there hasnt been many problems with it either!!! but any help or what people think please let me no thank you and i app. it very much!!!!

drive them and decide what you like better---that easy.

For me the 2 door coupe factor gives the Cobalt an edge. Plus its built on a newer, better chasis, has a waay better interior and looks better. I could really care less if the SRT4 is 0.3 faster (or whatever) in the 1/4 mile. Now I'll give the SRT4 credit though..still a great bang for your buck.
