P.S. Did you see the caranddriver.com article recently when they tested most of these same cars at the road race track at VIR? That was an excellent read.

i thought it that means "BASE" horse power
anyway so the cobalt makes a little spotlight again but is over shadowed by the infamos 350Z seriosly give us that extra 7k and i promise we could make tons more power as well as better styling.
From Wikipedia:
Brake horsepower (bhp)
Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the gearbox, generator, differential, water pump and other auxiliaries. Thus the prefix "brake" refers to where the power is measured: at the engine's output shaft, as on an engine dynamometer. The actual horsepower delivered to the driving wheels is less. An engine would have to be retested to obtain a rating in another system. The term "brake" refers to the use of a band brake to measure torque during the test (which is multiplied by the engine speed in revs/sec and the circumference of the band to give the power).

kinda classic car and driver riggin though, they opted for the very bottom of the line model, and probably got a hella quote from someone just to fit a couple of these cars in here

of note, i sold 350Zs... and i've seen like two that actually arrived on the lot with less than a 30,000 dollar sticker.
it's not a fair car to have in the list, when the average one goes for 34k IMO. it should be done on "average sale price" of course, in that logic, the balt would be a sub 20k car.

Not too shabby of a review, short but aight. funny thing is that every car ranged from 22-30,000 US but in canada the range is ah...um a lil different. MSRP 07's $25,000 (Cobalt SS S/C) to $46,000 (350Z)

sorry guys i was posting this stuff from memory and swore i saw an STi, when it just a wrx. and the evo is an rs not an mr. FYI the evo rs is the most stripped down, hence cheapest, model you can get, and it barely made the cut... no power anything, no radio, etc...
"one of the best-kept secrets in the marketplace."
This is the best quote, and very true. Not alot of people know the true potential of the 2.0...and that's why so many other racers don't give us alot of respect.
