Well, we're just bigger kids now and the piggy banks have grown wheels and a steering wheel. The part of putting the money in hasn't changed one bit...   That's what makes this life so satisfying. No $$ for gas and insurance, but damn the car looks good doesn't she. :cssNET: ninja44 07-18-2005, 09:27 PM As soon as this ratty ass shop gets em in I'm install them myself. NGA id 003 07-19-2005, 01:28 PM ALright i had a j-body a while back, now im in a ls cobalt. Im noticing there are no struts available yet. And on J's when you lowered on stock struts you were pretty much asking to blowout. Is this not an issue on the cobalts? Seems like everyones dropping on stock, is that reliable? NGASales 07-19-2005, 01:56 PM I had sportlines on my z24 for 3 years before the stock struts blew, but keep in mind they had 140,000 miles on them as well. I would say it would be fine until Koni or KYB has something out later this year. NGA Cobalt30 07-22-2005, 12:19 AM how can you do this to me NGA ? lol i just orderd some today for 265 with free shipping. im hoping you charge a lot for shipping cuz i just feel like i got ripped off. I should of read this damn forum before i orderd them . i hate be impatient when it comes to my car. sry to no make the purchase from you but w/ future mods i will look to you first. Shermen 07-22-2005, 03:34 AM what is your site? tx05cobalt 07-22-2005, 03:03 PM there is no way you got 3 years out of stock struts lowered. My 01 Z24 had around 30K miles on it when I lowered it and the struts were completly dead within a few weeks. It was less then 5K after the drop I replaced them with Konis. You should not lie to get business. Everyone I know that had a cavalier blew the struts quickly on a drop. NGASales 07-23-2005, 01:50 AM there is no way you got 3 years out of stock struts lowered. Hey man, not trying to lie to anyone, I still have the Eibachs on, i bought the car with 42k miles and have never changed the stocks at all. I mean they are blown now but i have over 150k on the car, they seemed to work great for me. Dont know what it was. tx05cobalt 07-23-2005, 02:54 AM prob just didnt give a damn that it rode like shit wikkymaster 07-24-2005, 08:04 PM ^ why do you have to be hateful? i dont see what he did wrong, jeez, you will still get my business nga AZ_SS 07-24-2005, 08:12 PM there is no way you got 3 years out of stock struts lowered. You should not lie to get business. Everyone I know that had a cavalier blew the struts quickly on a drop. Actually either stating that they will last awhile or blow out really quick is wrong. There is no time line on when the stock struts/shocks will go after drop springs are installed. They vary all the time on every make of car/truck. So just because they blew on a Cavalier means absolutely nothing. And stating that they will last for a while should be taken with a grain of salt. It is good practice to replace the struts/shocks when installing lowering springs. :D Cobalt30 07-26-2005, 07:09 PM wheres your website nga sales? please post it up here if possible. thanks wikkymaster 08-09-2005, 09:07 PM is this deal still going on cuz i might take you up on the pro kit Mercury 08-10-2005, 02:46 AM I'll say it again.... what size is the drop? wikkymaster 08-10-2005, 11:37 AM dude you can easily find that out on other sites, but pro kit is 1.6 1.6 i think and sportline is like 2 inches arsenal21 08-10-2005, 12:43 PM dude you can easily find that out on other sites, but pro kit is 1.6 1.6 i think and sportline is like 2 inches Wikky, Did you get the ProKit?
