Between my ss nova ,z28 camaro (gone) ,and now ss balt i understand the pay to play concept . Theres always a way to tinker thou . If i really wanted an exhaust i would order it , its just kinda dickish this time of year when christmas is around the corner and all i want is alittle sound to hold me over till after the holidays .

Change just the muffler or a high flow cat might change the note slightly.

Resonator won;t do much, change the muffler out with something that flows better. should cost you under $100

hahahah you change any part of that stock system car will get real loud real quick. Any one who gutted our cat can see it has fiberglass packing in it which means it also like a mini muffler. And the stock muffler is huge! i would put a magnaflow delta flow muffler with a tip on it . When i did just a non delta flow magnaflow mufler stock everything else it was really loud. Cool but loud. I ended up going back to stock.

^ yeah and generally loud with the cobalt is a bad thing not a good thing. Although the corsa sounds decent if you get the touring.

or you can do a cat delete and while you're at it remove your resonator
