Does anyone have the instructions to installing the kit? Or a link to where I could find them? Thanks in advance!

Awesome, thanks a lot man. How's your car doing after that problem you had with the belt?

Oh, that! Pshhh I fixed that the day it happened (thank god I had a spare belt). My new thing is I need to get a wideband and a scan gauge. I'm extremly worried about my car, in light of all the recent engine failures. Now that its getting colder I fear I'm running too lean. I'm not worried about knock, because when I tuned I had no knock and that was back when it was in the 80s and all I had was a cobra HE.

Good to hear everything is back up and running well then. I also gotta get some gauges to make sure everything is running smoothly. I'm pretty sure I have a similar set-up as you do, and I'm also a little worried with all the engine problems and axels breaking. One more quick question, you can just use your windshield washer tank for the kit, right? You don't need to purchase another resevoir tank do you? Thanks again.

From what I understand some people ARE using the washer fluid tank. I personally don't have water/meth injection so don't quote me on that, but it certainly seems do-able, its not like it being used (I've had my car since March 31st and have yet to touch the window sprayer).

EDIT* One more thing, how you liking your header? I love mine, I just want the opinion of a fellow pacesetter user.

Sounds good then, I should be good to go without getting a new resevoir tank then. I like the Pacesetter a lot, I felt a noticeable difference with and with the rest of my exhaust set-up, the sound is nice and deep. I've had a problem though with keeping it from getting an exhaust leak. Two times now, one of the bolt that holds it on at the top end has fallen out! But since the last time I fixed it, I haven't had any problems and that was over a month ago now. Overall I'm very pleased with it and everyone who see's it says that it is one of the nicest looking headers they've seen for the Cobalts.

Hmm, I installed mine over a month ago and have yet to get a leak (knock on wood). I can't tell you what kinda gains I felt. I installed the header the same time I installed my 2.6" pulley and 3" catless exhaust.

Did you ever get to a dyno and/or the track yet?

Dude, I'm so broke I can't even drive my car (no gas and no money for gas) :(

oh yeah man sorry about the instruction thing.... I tapped the bottom of my resevoir tank and ran the line from there (much larger capacity) kenny from c/a "misplaced" my tank that came with the kit... and I have no idea where it ended up...
oh yeah new thing going in this weekend... little 50shot to liven things up a bit til the new project is done...
also if you have any other questions on installation feel free to pm since I"ve installed a bunch of the kits already.

No problem man, and if I have any questions I'll let you. Do you think I'll be fine just using the window washer tank for the kit? As stated above it has been done, so I shouldn't teally have any problems with it, right? Other than just having to fill it up more often.

window washer tank is huge man almost 2 gallons... the one from the kit was only 2 qts.... even if you run washer fluid (-20 deg) you can still wash your windows too... I personally ran a 50/50 meth distilled water mix... worked pretty damn good.. and if you use washer fluid it makes your inside of the intake a pretty blue color... lol

Yea, I picked up some of that -20 washer fluid the other day. Looking forward to getting the kit on. I'll have dyno results from it, too. So I'll keep everyone posted on it.

You guys don't mind spraying washer fluid INTO your engine?!?!

I mounted my DO kit in the trunk. I love it. The only thing I want to do is run my boost switch to a spot where it can't be seen. To look at my engine bay you would never know I have W/I except for the boost switch laying there.

If you buy the cheap stuff from wal mart its just methanol and distilled water with like a 30ppm concentration of blue dye in it...its insignificant

I have water/meth on my car and it works great. Gets rid of a lot of knock and keeps things cool. I also used the stock washer tank as my resivoir.

anyone ever looked into water/NITROmethane?????? It has been done before and provides WAY more power that the standard water/meth but is more dangerous too.

I was going to try it... but due to problems with the car... I pulled the plug on that til my new motor is built (p.s. I didn't blow mine up)
