Pacesetter Header question

My friend had a 2.2L Cavalier i beleive it was an 05 I have a base 05 Cobalt auto 2.2L. Well his car was totaled and he has the pacesetter header from it. But I was wondering if it would fit on my car. I tried a search and it didn't come up. He said it looks like it would hit the firewall on his Redline. But he said if it fit on my car he would hold it for me. So does anyone know if it will fit or not? Im thinking it will. Thanks!

if its the Pacesetter header than it should fit, basically what you are being sold from Pacesetter is the header from the 2.2L Cavalier.

that is the only one that fits though to my knowledge...do a test fit...it couldn't hurt.

Won't fit. None of the headers that fit the Cavalier will fit the Cobalt. Yes its the same engine but our engine bays are different.

Ok sweet thanks. I wasn't quite sure. But i figured it was basically almost the same motor. So it should fit. And the only thing that sucks about the test fit is that its a daily driver so it would suck if it didn't fit cause then I would have to put it all back together :-(

that header should fit. there is like 2 feet if not more of room between the mainfold and firewall on my car. It gets rid of the flex flange anyway so it should fit

yes it will fit, I know of 2 locals that have the cavalier pacesetter on there 2.2 cobalts. Hell I have the pacesetter LSJ header on my cavalier as its the same design as the 2.2 cavalier one but with bigger runners and collector...

2.2 cavalier left , 2.0 Cobalt right...

hard to tell the size diff becasue one is dull and the other is not.

LSJ header on my 2.2

the Pacesetter Cavalier header for the 2.2 and the Cobalt one are the exact same! you'll be fine

when I ordered my Pacesetter from TTR on the paper it had 2.2 Cavalier & Sunfire scratched out with Cobalt & Ion hand written.
