Anyone heard of Megan Racing gauges? Good prices in my opinion.

Oil Pressure

Water Temp

Gauge Pod

There are a few more gauges on the website too.

Are they cheap gauges, meaning quality wise? I have never seen them in person. Someone who has them chime in.

I swear Mercury has them.

Even so, I still think that isn't worth the $80. It is just a light show. I would buy something that could accurately read my AFR, I wouldn't feel safe knowing what it approximately is. I do like that they somewhat match up to the stock gauge cluster though.

Yeah $80 is a good price. I know what you mean SS Canuck, you want to see numbers not a needle. I wouldn't mind the needle for $80 though. They do match up with the stock gauge nicely.

The Megan AFR gauge doesn't use LEDs so it isnt a "light show." If you look at it, you see that there is a needle.

I understand that, what I mean is that I would rather have an AFR gauge that actually displays the AFR in real time in a digital display. Maybe it's just me, idk. Not bashing your gauge choice.

Needle, LEDs, or a clown riding a unicycle that yells "Lean!", "Rich!", or "Stoich!"... it's still not a wideband.

first of all why would you get that POS, thats a NARROwBAND gauge, meaning it doesnt do NOTHING, its complete ricer stuff, on top of getting that narrowband you guys bought Megan Racing!!! NOOO! complete rice, heard of they catback exhausts? If you guys are going to buy a narrowband at least go for a good brand, For example

You're an animal Ljavy17.

I though that was the light show gauge. You think that one is better? Interesting.
I don't know anything about either of them.

I'm a noob when it comes to gauges so....

What exactly is the difference between narrowband and wideband?

Don't they both use a secondary o2 sensor for readings?

80$ 50$ 22$ it doesn't matter, either way it's useless because it's not a wideband. It really is just for show. You should spend the money and get a wideband otherwise I would get a different gauge so maybe it would actually serve a purpose.

The wideband will give you and exact reading of your a/f. It will say 12.2 or whatever. This is important because you can detect when something goes wrong really early because you can see small changes in the a/f. Also if you are going to be tuning it's a must.

Thank you sir. I found this.

Freakin-A! It looks like a narrowband is pointless. That sucks.

Air/Fuel Gauge

The A/F gauge will measure the air to fuel ratio that is being burned in your combustion chamber, or in other words how lean or rich you are running. The air/fuel ratio is the ratio of Air to Fuel drawn into the cylinder. The optimum ratio of Air to Fuel is about 13.5-pounds or air to 1-pound fuel.

There are Narrowband and Wideband Air/Fuel gauges available. A Narrowband does not provide the precise Air/Fuel reading needed for tuning. The Narrowband will meter the output of voltage from the vehicles oxygen sensor through LED lights.

Narrowband Air/Fuel Gauge
The Narrowband Oxygen Sensor cannot indicate what exactly the A/F ratio is in the rich or lean areas due to the fact that oxygen sensor output changes with temperature and wear. When the oxygen sensor temperature increases the voltage output will decrease in the rich area, and it will increase in the lean area

Wideband Air/Fuel Gauge
A Wideband Air/Fuel gauge is better suited for tuning. These gauges will provide an accurate reading of the Air/Fuel ratio. The wideband sensor provides a signal that’s virtually proportional to the amount of oxygen that is in the exhaust stream.

I had the AFR gauge and honestly, it got pretty annoying. I am not sure if my gauge was defective or if it was the way I had it hooked up, but whenever the gauge read lean or rich, it made a tapping noise when the needle maxed out. So it sounded like a constant ticking. I probably just had a defective gauge though. It was nice to have a needle instead of the typical multi-colored LED lights. The Megan gauges are extremely bright and don't match the SS/SC's stock mild white lights. I am currently not using any gauges at this point though.
