GM's New end your lease program by jan 2nd?
I saw this on the gm website and I am interested to trade in my Ls. It says They will give you 1,000 bonus added onto your new contract. I have a 3 year smart buy program for 12k miles a year and I have 28k miles right now in 1.7 years...Rounded off to 24k miles. Would I get hammerd in overage fees on milage ??? or will the 1,000 bonus settle the 6-8 thousand miles over?

Ummmm, why don't you read your contract?
If they charge you 10 cents per mile over 24k, then multiply that by how many you are over, like 0.10 x 7000 = $700.
Read your contract how much they will charge you for miles over 12k/year and multiply that by how much you expect to be over at the end of the year. Easy.
