I was talking to a guy in my shop who was telling me about a guy that lives near the base with a 12 sec SRT. I asked if he lived on like 84th and camelback, and he said yes. i guess you've talked to him. You have a shop called "Nergy Heads"? If so, that's cool. Small world! I'm still trying to make plans with the wifey to get to the pavillions again on the 30th. If i go, it will be for real.

NRGY heads is run by my friend Nick Riley:

If you ever get to the point where you want porting & polishing work done, Nick is the man.

Might have been Nick he talked to, might have been me... I meet alot of ppl at the track, for some reason my car attracts attention at the track. :D And hopefully after tomorrow night I'll be "a guy that lives near the base with an 11 sec SRT." :D

Yea, he tol dme that "you" talk to two guys that have SS's that live/work on the base, but they are cocky, and won't show up to anything. I was like "ah, man, I hope he ain't talking about me, cuz i told him to meet me a the pavillion a couple weeks ago."

Yea, I check the site. Looks like he runs a tight ship there. How much does he normally charge, and how long does it take to do the work? Also, would he p&p a blower?

Hmm. I never said anything to anyone about cocky SS/SC owners... (well, except maybe CodySS :D) just that I couldn't get any SS/SC's to show up anywhere (Pav's or the track) :D

I imagine he could P&P a blower, I don't know if he ever has or not; I guess I could ask him. As for his prices, it depends on what you want done. I do know right now he is swamped and not taking any orders until he gets caught up. So turn around time right now is "awhile." But he'll probably be caught up by the time you're actually looking at doing something... which I'm guessing is at least a few months down the road.

Well, i can shoot for the 30th, for the pavillion. No guarantees with family though. You at home late at night? The only time you'll have a chance to see me is on my way home at night.

Yea, I usually get off work around 3:30 to 4:00 so I'm home around 4 to 4:30.

The pavs on the 30th sounds doable, as long as the wife doesn't forget and make other plans for us :D

Should've come out to Speedworld tonight. Once I figured out what launch parameters to run, my car was consistantly running 11.7's. My best time of the night was an 11.775@123.770. My friend Nick's best time was an 11.714@124.841.

Density altitude was well over 4000ft on both runs.

i think I'll wait until fall to go to the track. Too hot right now. Don't feel like running 16's  To be honest, I've only been to the track once in my life. I'm not very good. I used to auto-x, but drag racing isn't my specialty. But I'll go soon. I have a friend that just got a blower put into his '96 mustang GT. I'm talking him into taking it to the track. If so, I'll bring mine.

I hear ya there. I wouldn't worry to much about the times right now, just head down there for the seat time. Work on your launch, get it down to a 2.3, then a 2.2 then a 2.1. That way when fall comes you won't be running 14.8 w/ a 2.4 60', you'll be running 14.3-14.4 w/ a 2.1 60' or better ;)

BTW, I uploaded the 4 best timeslips from Friday Night:
