Where is the oil leaking from?

i think its from a bolt that fell out

i dont see why everything is coming out damit, i used locktight and a torque wrench

Really? Are you sure? Maybe ask what they torqued them to...
I gotta question the skills of whomever you've got working on your engine, I've never seen the bellhousing bolts come loose OR cam gears break OR had the threads pull on the oil sprayer without plain old "user error"
I'd FIRE em!
Wop

PS> Most any GM dealer has a Time-sert thread repair for ANY thread on the ECOTEC engine

I was gonna say something negitive but now I'm like forget it. It's alright to read about your motor rebuild adventure your going through but the more days i read the more i shake my head. Atleast i hope you saved money doing it all your self, or something.......

its all in good taste, we all want to see your car running strong

Every ones really hyping themselves up on this install but take it for what it is, a cool adventure for one of our members Maybe to end with a good write up and sticky. Don't think he's gonna hit the street running high or even mid 12's with the greatest of ease and putting down some crazy ass numbers. Your just setting yourselves up for disappointment. It's a beefed up cobalt if that and video won't show anything differnt from what any other modded cobalt looks like.

damn dark one....
well at least mine should go smoother....
but yeah I feel that's the truth and if the motor lasts more than a month (and thats continuous running) I'd be surprised.
now I'm not tryin to be negative here, but some things that were done were def not right, so lets just see.

to bad i was going to follow in his footsteps... i'll just redirect myself now. sounds like his car is going to be a bad ass machine just takes some work, inculding for his first time. my buddys DSM didnt run right for like a month or two, but once he got it running right, and all the kinks worked out that thing put down some nice numbers.
