brake rotors and brakes complety f*cked up after 9500 miles

went for a oil change and they said my rotors and breaks are shot so they said there going to replace them for free but still! after 9500 miles there done he said its due to high speed i told him i have not drove fast in this car for a while now i think this is kind of bs i hope this car doesntr eat rotors and brakes my mom had them take her brand new explorer over this as a lemon because it couldnt hold brakes and rotors for 5000 miles!

Hopefully a new ride will be here soon!

it's a common problem with gm cars.
for cobalts it's that the pads are harder then the rotors.

do a search and you'll see alot of people have had this issue.

Yeah GM is known for not using the best quality rotors. Every GM car I have owned has developed warped rotors fairly early. So far the cobalt has been the best though for me I'm at 11,500 miles and I started having signs that the rotors are starting to warp at about 10,000 miles

pads wear VERY uneven and cannot make a great connection to the surface of the rotors. I had to get new pads and my rotors already redone and it still vibrates. Gonna get something better come spring.
