pics of my custom mounted gauges

Hey whats up guys,
I had some gauges laying around that i had in my z24,so i decided to put them in my car.
I wanted to put them in a spot where you couldnt really see them from outside the car,so i mounted them in front of the cup holder.Tell me what you think.

Ill try to get some better pics in the daytime.I was bored so i just took the console out and started cutting, lol

Looks good, i didnt realize we had that much room back there. On a sad note, it reminds me of the 80's VW Cabriolet(POS).

I noticed that you have a black door to the glove box. Did you paint that? It looks nice.

Thanks for the comments. As for the glove box door,no i didnt touch it.I assumed all of them came in black. As for the gauges im putting in,im not sure yet.i have a volts gauge, oil pressure gauge and a water temp.ill probably put the volts and oil pressure gauges in since we already have a coolant temp gauge.Im not sure where to hook them up,i didnt get that far yet, lol. Its too cold out anyway,so i guess its gonna be awhile before i hook them up

Well I'm just jealous then. I drive the base model, so I don't have black. It's grey, and I don't like it so much.

Cobaltic,im in westchester. The wideband is a plx m300.I just took it apart and mounted it behind the panel where the passenger air bag display was.I dont think i have any pics of how i mounted it,but its not that hard.

That black square next to the DIC buttons is the valet button for my clifford alarm.

I gotta do alittle bit of work to get the gauge on the right side to get in.Theres a little metal bracket behind there, and the guage hits the side of it.I gotta bend it alittle bit for the gauge to fit in.It shouldnt be a big deal though. Thanks for the comments.

you think that you could take some pics of how you have the A/F gauge mounted? That is such a great way to utilize that dead spot in the dash.

Yeah, that's the only thing I would be concerned with is visibility. Otherwise I think it is a good spot. I actually put a LED light down there that lights up when my water injection comes on.

I love the wideband location! Makes me almost wish i had a plx....
