Since someone asked, As was mentioned in the 1st 2007 meet thing, I manage a bowling alley out here in Dekalb IL. (just off of 88 west of Aurora) If you guys would like to get together we can meet up there watch the game on 2 huge projection screens, 6 32" screens, and a couple other screens, go bowling, play pool, or X-box, Order Pizza and have soda.

sht just realized this is going to be a sunday night the na nd its an hour dsrive for me and i wake up at 445 monday morning for school.... would this meet start in the early afternoon?

 

I'll ask my friends if they want to tag along. If they do, you can count me in.

 

I'm thinking maybe about 3pm so we can get some bowling and pool or video game time in, the game starts at 5pm our time, I will say that the Super Bowl generally doesn't finish early, but you can stay till you need to go...no problems thier....(and its a 45 min drive to CL if your not in a hurry)

 

Then I guess I should change this up cause I doubt you want to be between me and the g/f....lol

Build will finally be done by then so Im totally in! Ill prob bring some friends too. Let just hope it ends up being the Bears in this superbowl.

I'm expecting it will be a bit on the colder side at that time, so You guys aren't going to want to be outside to long. I was thinking we'd meet up between 2 and 3 at one of the parking lots on campus, I'll post directions in a while, And then we'd head to the bowling alley about 3, get some bowling or pool in, order Pizza for the game, and then watch the game at 5pm. If anyone has any other ideas let me know.

Unfortunately, I'm not currently making enough money, and with the g/f Being sick for the last 2 weeks, I will not be able to cover the cost of food, but it will be discounted as best I can get...Depending on the number of people we get I should be able to get the Bowling cost down quite a bit also...

The more the merrier (sp?).....How are we looking so far? I'm not liking the way the Bears are going into the playoffs, but atleast they are going....Will be nice to see them stop Green bay from going....What a better way for Farve to Retire haveing lost to the Bears to keep him out of the playoffs...
