bfgoodrich g-force sports

what does everyone think of these?? i curbed my front right tire and somehow it only chipped a little bit off my rim, but took out a quarter sized chunk of my sidewall. it wasnt anyting too bad, but i'm paranoid and i hated my tires anyways, so i replaced the front 2 tires(no money for all 4). i also figured, while i'm at it, might as well get some good performance tires over these crappy nankangs, and hell, make em wider too!
went from these crappy 215/45/17 nankang sport ns-1s to 225/45/zr17. tire tread looks pretty sweet too.

i have a question about that? wtf is that z in between the 45 and the R? you know how on tire sizes it says 225 45R17? well it says 225 45ZR17 on these. wtf?

anyways, these tires RULE! i love them! major improvement over the nankangs. launching on the street is no problem just dumping the clutch. less tire spin, wheel hop more often but its like for literally 1 second and i'm off no spinning. less spin into second gear. i cant wait til january to test these in the track.

the z is the rating on the tire,, the high number the more the tire excepts g-forcing..meaning its blow out rate..some have h rating up to 135??dont know the rating but z is the highest i think..good tires

IIRC the Z=168mph max speed rating. Nice set of tires by the way. Someone I work with bought a set for their WS6, and they handle pretty nice from what I'm told.

lol yeah, the bfgs up front and crappy offbrands in the back, until i save up another $300+
to replace those tires + warranty. always get a warranty! i got a nail in one of my tires, went up there and they were like ok we'll replace it nocharge. i also have free lifetime tire rotation

I had 225/50/16's in the Gforce sports on my old cavalier. with the modded suspension i had i could not get those things to break loose in a corner. It was unreal. not bad in the rain i might add.
