stick with what you have got factory, you wont need anything different until you go forced induction or do an ignition upgrade that makes your spark hotter

I replaced mine with bosh 2's to help reduce knock retard while tuning. makes a difference, acdelco really is crap imo. I'd suggest NGK or bosh 2 (heard bosh 4's snap). of course when it comes time for f/i champions are the most widely used.

get a set of those and you should be good for a while.

ya man only mistake I made was if i could have gotten ahold of the bosch platinum 4's i would have

get the platinum 4's install and you will see exactly what your engine has been missing out on

muchb much better acceleration from a dig, improved throttle response, and starts are instant and smooth , and it doesnt take any longer then about a minute to fully warm up

....let me know how they work out for you

Anybody know a good way to gap the Bosch platinum 4s. I've got one of those cheap circular gap gauges, I don't quite see how that could work

Is their a good (nationwide...like pepboys or goodwrench) shop that will do this without bringing the car in. How much would they charge for this?

Do Not Gap The Platinum 4's. They Do Not Require Gapping, If You Gap Them You It Will Cause Serious Damage To Your Engine. They Are Gapped Correctly For Performance From The Factory Just Buy, Removie The Old Ones And Install Nothing Else Needed

people on other 2.4 forums are going with autolites over the platinum 4's saying that they are better, do the autolites have to be gapped

im now curious to see how the +4 hold up in our car, i remember replacing lots with NGK iridium or iridium ix, due to the fact that bosch has the centre electrode flush with the ceramic. I was always under the impression that bosch blugs were best used in direct injection vehicles.
