Should I be Worried??? BENT RIM
i just went to discount tire to get my free tire balance and rotation and the service guy told me that my front passanger rim was bent. i asked him how bad it was and he said that it should be good for about another 5,000 miles. I have Konig Unknowns....should i buy one qucik or wait?
I manage a collision center in Texas and can tell you that there are companies that body shops use to have rims repaired. I do not know how much your exact rim costs, but they can usually repair them for about $130 and have it back to you within 2 days.

If you have a bent rim replace it. Did they show you how severe it was -- like spin it so you could see the distortion? If he knows it is bent and said it is good for another 5000 miles -- don't go back there! If you can't afford another rim right now swap it with the rear wheel -- because it will create a vibration that you may not feel -- could cause you problems with your steering or drivetrain/axles.

im going to go to a differnet discount tire here in town to get their opinion. maybe he didnt tighten it all the way on the thing that spins it to c if its bent. maybe he's just retarted. lol
There is no way for him to know that "You only have 5000 miles left on this rim!" Whatt???? Go somewhere else... I got my bent rim on my 05 LS cobalt fixed for $85 on an 18" Tenzo R wheel at The Hubcap and Wheel store!
