Sounds like you need to go through your bank and get the transaction number and send them a copy of it. However, this isn't the way to go about this on a public forum...

On the other side, "if" you've sat on this from July, that's mostly your fault as well...get with Badg1rl on here...

I ordered spark plugs from them, and got them like 3 days later. Maybe you have bad luck?

Go through your credit card company and they will open a dispute on the charge.

Oh, I agree with you...I sent an email with questions and never got a response...if a company wants my business, communication is key...I think they might be taking on more than they can handle personally...plus the house and everything.

I never said it was "his" fault though...I just wouldn't of waited almost half a year to bring it up, ya know? After a month, I would of requested my money back...he should of documented calls and emails of the sorts pertaining to the item in question...I hope he didn't lose that much...

OK new rule! All those who bash vendors publicly should be banned. Yes? OK

CA has a great bunch of guys working there. If they cannot find anything on your order then it was probably just a mistake, and guess what, mistakes DO happen. Allshot is not correct in saying many people have had problms with them. The people that had issues were complaining about the group buy stuff, which as has been stated before WAS NOT set up BY CA but WAS set up by a MEMBER here on CSS.net That being said CA was UNPREPARED for the group buy, had to rush things to meet the group buy and unfortunately anger the wrong few people when things were not on their doorstep after 3 days (can you say customs?).

Now in regards to your order. You've done nothing for how long? Made no appreciable progress on this matter since July? Have not dug up a bank statement or credit card receipt for this at all? I'm assuming you paid paypal. There should be a record there yes? I'm sorry to say that if you made a small fuss and then dropped it that I see no wrong from CA. Its not their job to follow up from you if you go incommunicado.

Did you try calling them? Were you emailing them? Were you persistent?

OK I'm done.

I'm sick of ******** not doing their part and then bashing Vendors. They don't need to be here or offer us great deals throughout the year. they are a great company, and they really do work their asses off making these parts.

Kenny and Donna are not the only 2 people that work there FYI. That being said, did you check your spam filter? This is always a problem with some peoples emails. But yes waiting half a year is this guys fault, not CA's.

I know that they aren't the ONLY people that work there...I'm not some moron who would think like that...and I know mistakes do happen...I also had no idea that .NET members were setting up the group buys...thats new to me...the message I sent was PM through this site to Kenny's s/n, so there was no filter to set...It was during the time he was at SEMA; which I found out a few days after I sent it. Its not a big deal for me, since I got the answers from someone else on the forum.

I think your not correct. Do you work there or something to know how every transaction goes? Two people including myself that live near me have had bad service from them. And none of us were involved in the group buys. I have ordered two items from them. One went well the other didnt. And regarding your statement about how its not there job you are insane. Its a companys job to provide the product you paid for in a quick manner. If a problems arises with the order you would think the company would keep you informed about the status about your order. Is this just a big coincedence how one of these threads pop up every month????? I think not. To be clear im not here to bash anyone. I just hate when people get all defensive because people tell about there transactions with vendors. We all know not all transactions are going to go perfect.

People get defensive because its an outright "THEY SUCK" post. I am right in saying its not their job to HUNT DOWN THE GUY after months. It was his job to maintain communication. If they couldn't find a record of the transaction then he needed to get the appropriate info from whatever establishment the money came from.

What company personally calls each buyer to state "we're sorry but we have a small issue with your order" Please give me an example. I ordered stuff online for xmas from a few different companies. 2 of which had problems during the processing period and neither called me or emailed me with information.

Either way its on this guy to get his **** together. He needs to find whatever record of the transaction he has and get a copy to CA to either 1) get his product or 2) get his refund.

And this si the 2nd time that this has happened where a buyer stopped trying to communicate or failed to make an effort at different forms of comunication and then waited months and decided "hey lets post a thread saying CA sucks"

number one allshot.,.. you know what happened with your order,,, the manufacturer screwed up and was late sending them their shipment... I told you that...
number 2 they are a great group of people./. I'm usually there all the time and wouldn't buy anything from anywhere else.. they do all they can to stay on top or ahead of everything being developed for these stupid cars....
also from every complaint I've seen... and mind you I'm at the shop often, there is usually no or little communication from the buyer... they just get an angry post out of no where and half the time don't know why.

I dunno sometimes... I know what some of you say, but I"m not here to kiss ass I"m here to tell the deal... I have personally spent a good amount of my money their and will continue to do so..

I really hate these threads

Right, we aren't bashing at all, you could call it constructive criticism. I mean for instance, when I first joined the site in June, I thought their (CA) website was awesome minus the few things they need to add, 6 months later, its still the same....uncomplete.

well one did you order over the phone or on there online site. If the answer is #2 than you got an email comformation number with your order so that initself proves that you did buy some thing. your 5th post on this site is of you companing about CA i dont know i think you may just be a noob. Im guess ing at this point your going to be like "I didnt get any conformation" at which point i would laugh. Also what fron bumper off of there site did you order? I dont jump in to defend vendors but there are alot of noob members who like to complain about the weirdest and dumbest things which always starts up a flame fest.

I'm sorry to be devils advocate but E to the X is 100% damn correct.

Why the hell would you wait since July to NOW say something about publicly? Why would you attempt to resolve something NOW? Why are you now bitching? Were you sitting back twittling your thumbs this whole time?

Honestly, everyone can blame a company but you know what, common sense hit people for some reason. Do you want the company to tie your shoes too? Get off your ass and make some action if this company so called is "ripping" you off.

I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for people who spend hundreds of dollars, no product shows up and then 6 months later they want to complain. I know I'm not rich and for the most part people on here value the money the spend, so why would you not rush on your moneys worth?

Also, I don't advocate you bashing a company publically UNLESS you have tried every means to resolve the situation. You contacted them, they gave you a reason and you probably hung up, whinned for an hour while stomping your feet and then slammed your fingers on the keyboard to a public forum that you know they are apart of to ruin their reputation...well...attempt to ruin their reputation.

Fact of the matter, when a company deals with alot of orders and a company consists of people, everything isn't going to be 100%. Like said, people aren't perfect and if you meet a person who is perfect, they are full of it.

I'm just sick of someone who doesn't try every option before bad mouthing a company publically.

Exaggerating = You

Everything aye? So show me EVERY item they have shipped with shipping labels and tracking numbers and the name of the customers that have had items that were shipped late.

Untill you can, saying EVERYTHING they ship is late is an exaggeration and a huge stretch upon the truth.

Also understand that people are influencial. They read something you say on this forum and they will take it into consideration. When you say something like that, they take it into consideration. What you said NOT true just for the fact that you can not PROVE this with every situation. So don't bash a company by means of the quality of shipping items when you can not prove it. Even if they shipped late to YOU this does not mean it was done the same for EVERYONE or even majority of their customers.

no offence but you guys are pretty quick to jump the gun on this guy.

he DID say he called them for a couple months....
he did NOT say he did nothing since July.....all of you made that assumption and started flaming.

I agree it shouldnt be brought up like this.....but if you ordered something and called for a couple of months and still got nowhere Im sure any one of us would be a bit pissed.

Ah, another CA thread. I can't wait for Kenny to get on and bust out the ownage, as that is what happens every single time. There should be a sticky about these kinds of threads, there should be no posting like this with out passing an IQ test. If the poster can't answer three questions he can't post:

What is your name?
What is your quest?
What is the capital of Syria?

Seriously people communicate with the vendors.
