Should just need the bar and the mounts, nothing extravagant or weird. And of course the tools, time, and inclination

Well, obviously, the parts first. The bar, mounts, and probably the strut links (I don't know if they are different or not)

Then you need a lift and a floor jack. Some rather serious equipment. You need it because you have to remove the lower engine cradle to replace the bar. So you have to get under the car, support the engine, and unbolt the cradle.

I haven't seen a how to on that one yet.

It's actually not a hard job, but it does require the use of that equipment. If you have it, it should only take about an hour really.

Shouldnt have to unbolt the cradle totally. Once you take the rear 2 bolts out it should drop enough to get anything you need. I think I'll take a look myself later today at work

I know on the cavalier there were 4 bolts holding up the subframe, once u removed them the cradle/subframe would drop 2-3 inches giving enuff room to put the sway bar in...I must have swapped sway bars in/out about 8 times (my friends had cavaliers too). I would count on 3-5 hours for a first time unless nothing is rusted.

correct me if i'm wrong i thought the fe5 bar was welded or something into the strut tower on the ss s/c
