Me at the track!

BACK2GM took this vid on his phone. I ran 14.40 @ 105.78. It was my second run and I was shifting slow. I started powershifting after that and ran 107+ every run after that.

Like it says in the beginning, I was slow shifting on that run. I almost hit 108 that night after I started powershifting, even though I was still shifting out first a 5200 rpm.

ingalls ETD (doesn't do ****) thats it. That night I didn't think I was going, but plans changed at the last second and I rushed out there. I ran that night with 35 psi in the front tires

Remember everyone, the car is trapping at 107, NOT the driver. You need to learn how to launch the car now that you got the power to put down. I know, I know...easier said than done....good numbers though

Hey Blown, why 35 psi?

33 psi is recomended stock.

You want a wider contact patch than stock so you should be at like 28 psi in the front.
and then 33 psi or even 35 psi in the rear.

I know
I don't want to get DRs until I get new axels, I'm too scared I'll break em with DRs and I can't afford $850 for new ones

Hey stu? What was your 1/8 mile mph? On my fastest run it was almost 85 mph! Oh and on my 14.16 my 1000' time was 12.04!!!

wow thats a terrible 1000 foot. haha. i was running better than than stock.haha. my 1/8 trap is around 81.x. dude you are most likely safe with DR's if you arent wheelhopping, that is what does them in. you are not going to be launching much higher anyways.

i keep telling him that **** but he doesn't believe me that more is worse than less. the recommended is actually 32 all around. when at the track I use 28 on the front end

I drop to 26 front 33 rear at the track.
I have gmpp S2, and I have no wheelhop.

no ETD either.

tire pressure is more important than most people think

Well he should believe you because it's the truth.

Yeah 26-28 in the front and stock setting 32-33 in the rear.

That is the perfect drag race setup for stock tires.

an0malous knows the deal too. With an avatar like that, how could he be wrong?

in blowns defense fireturd is the worst place to race on nearly any day but does sometimes have a good prep job but its so damn rare that it doesn't make up for the bad prep days. at fireturd you either wheel hop or spin to no end unless you ride your clutch like a parasite
