ok ive got 20k to spend on a car....ive seriously been looking at the ss/sc , i want a fast low mileage car....if you had to do it over would you still get the cobalt ss/sc or is there another preferance for a fast dependable car under 20k

used srt-4, used sti, used evo............... you can pick all those up in the 20 grand range

 

The evo and sti will be high mileaged for 20 k....I say, go with srt4 or ss/sc....OR, ls1 gto and turbo the b*tch, or ls1 firebird/camaro....m6 (6 speed) of course

 

buy a 2.2 and put the rest in the bank

One major thing to think about when buying a slightly used performance car is you will never know how much it was abused, seriously think about it what do we like to do with our cars? with the base price of the evo,sti etc you are going to have to have more used then you would a cobalt s/c i've seen 2006 s/c for 15/16gs on ebay with only 9,000miles not bad at all.

 

smart better yet cd,stocks,bonds, etc.....but non the less your only young once now or later where do you want the fun
