CA TRACTION BARS vs Ingalls Torque Damper

Hi all!

I just got gm stage two installed a 2 weeks ago. I love it. what a differents. But 1st gear is useless now. I raced a 04 wrx from the line and he put 3 car lengths on me by the time I hit 60.(yes I know I need a driver mod) But then when I raced him from 40. I put 2 car lenghs on him right away . So question is. Does anyone have either of these products? and how do you like them . Which one is better? Or can I use both of them? Any info would be great.

I have the Ingalls Torque Damper and it works great for wheel hop. It's not going to give you much more traction per say, but it'll make sure the tires stay in contact with the group instead of hopping. This equates to the axles not breaking which is a good thing. Someone else will have to chime in on the traction bars.

i have the ingalls and at the track its difference is minimal... guys with the traction bars have seen nice improvements in 60 ' times, id go with both myself or a solid mount, but its up to you.

The torque damper saved my axles the second time I went to the track, so it was worth it for me. The first time out the gate, snap and a flatbed ride home. I bet the traction bars would permit better 60' times though for sure. Can't go wrong with both!

I have the C/A bars on my car and they def helped my 60's by at least 2-3 10ths. and that was with motor mount, tranny mounts, and the ingalls already installed

I have the ingalls on mine, I have it set to 10 (stiffest setting) and it doesn't hardly do anything at the track, it made a HUGE difference on the street, but at the track I still get really bad wheel hop. Yes its installed correctly and no its not bent.

I have Intense trans mounts and the Ingalls and on the street I get no hop any more but at he track it was like I never had them on . I will eventually put the B-woody's on myself before going back to the track.

Oh and I snapped my axle shaft with the trans and ingalls mounts.

I now have the Stage 2 axles on mine.

Agreed. Ingalls is great for street, but at the track the car still hops a considerable amount. I'd go with solid mounts for the track, don't know too much about these traction bars.

I have the bwoody trac bars on my ride, and I love them, aside from being a little noisy over bumps at low speeds. by far the best traction mod I've done for the car, (right up there with trans mounts in my opinion) And I have full mounts, CAB's, Ingal's, and the trac bars

There should be pics in my gallery, if not I'll snap some later and post em up for ya

For future notice, don't quote spam. It just makes more things I have to delete, and it sucks to delete posts when the site is running slow.
