18 down to 17......better?

I have an 07 ss/sc with 18 inch polished wheels. I was thinking of going down to the 17 inch for a lighter wheel and to help with wheel hop. Good idea? Anybody willing to trade?

I thought you wanted the 17 inch polished Chrome?
To be honest with you. They don't look near as good as the 18 inch Gunmetals. You sure.

Plus I also have to ask. I've only put 3700 miles on my pirellis. What kinda wear and tear are you talking about with your rims?

edit.. Oops. wrong person. Ignore this. Plus I don't think I can compete with someone who will pay for shipping themselves.

It would be cheaper to buy, but to trade it would be better. what size tires come on the 17's? I only have 1000km's on the stock tires.

Hey, the 2.4 SS tires are not as wide as the SS/SC I believe. That might not be such a hot idea.
