Car Won't Start, Stage II install fail?

My father and I finally got the last step done for the stage II. Everything is installed and we double checked. The car will not start, anyone have any idea? I did pull the fuse for the fuel pump. It is back in, ever since that it will not start. Help please.

Double check the placement of the fuse for the fuel pump. There isn't a gap between the fuse just forward of it.

Did you unplug your battery before you started. I'd check all the fuses.

For sure. I have to drive about 2 miles down the road. I won't travel over 35mph and won't go over 3k rpms. It should be fine. I don't think I will be able to sleep waiting for this reflash.

Your excitement is well founded. Its practically a brand new car after GM stage 2. And the best part?? A bunch of extra hp completely under warranty!!!

Hell yea. It should go well with my Injen CAI, GMPP Touring exhaust, and manifold. Got the Ingall's on, all I need is some great tires to grab.

you guys must be have better dealers where you are. in My city i talked with the service manager about adding a GM Stg 2 kit to my SS/SC and he said it was under warranty, unless it's found to be the cause of the failure, and increasing the boost in your engine with a stage 2 can be blamed on 1001 different engine failures, so basically it's not warrantied ........ here atleast.

p.s. grats on the stage 2 dude, i want to get it done so bad, but i dont wanna lose the warranty cause i'm frankly to broke to fix the engine if it fails on me lol

Tell your dealers to shove it and talk to GM about it. GM warranties the parts/work, not the dealer.
Stupid dealers **** me off

welcome to the site, by the way

Yep dealers really have no clue when it comes to the stage kits . The whole point of the GM stage kits are to retain your warranty, if they didnt everyone would go to the aftermarket kits to make more power lol. Hell you can buy SS's off the lot with the kits already installed . Most dealers are so convinced of their own superior knowledge that they wont pick up a god damn phone and call "The mother ship" lol , i cant stand douchbag dealers , they drag the good ones down with them . My dealer is awesome.

Good stuff, glad to see that's all set now. That's the worst feeling when your car won't start.

Stage 2

Picked-up the stage 2 version of my 07' after work today and thankfully it still runs smoothy (dealers first install) . The power increase is noticable ( 2nd and 3rd especially).
That being said, the difference in torque is less than I'd hoped for but it's not a big-block afterall. Suprising (to me at least), the added 500 RPM has a profound effect on the cars overall driveabilty. The gearbox ratios finally make some sense (except for stump-puller 1st) and the engine seems to have found it's sweet spot. The increase in fuel consumption is not as bad as expected either............but in the end, who really gives a **** about it.

On another note, I've read some posts concerning wheel-hop. In 27 years of having a drivers licence, this is the first FWD car I've owned. I'm not sure if I'm getting wheel-hop, or it's just the LSD scrounging for traction. Torque-steer aside, upon controlled acceleration in lower gears , the car has a somewhat "jerky" quality to the front end.
Cured beef snacks aside, What do you guys think?
