Updated , with pics from when I test fit them on the car tonite . A big whhhhhhew ....we got our measurements right They stick out just enuff more over the stock wheels to set them just a tad inside the top fenderline . With a tire it should be nice flush .

Billy - yea they came with caps . They are hopelessly FUGLY though . I will take a pic in a sec and post . I will not be using these . Im gonna use the zinc washed GM rotors , that will take care of the ports in between the lug holes so your not looking at a rusty rotor surface and I will just used black paint where the wheel bearing is and polish up the bolt and stud a lil . It wont look bad like that .

Stockers are 24lbs each. We're saving 7lbs in weight on each corner!

Smaller Rims = Loss of Top Speed? I understand the princple of getting lighter rims but your adding more weight by getting bigger tires, more tire = more air to fill. Maybe I am missing something. Not Dissing just trying to understand..

My understanding is your saving 3-4 lbs rather then 7 after it's all said and done with the size tires your putting on.

Sneaky- Actually man ....the 225/45-18 BFG KDW 2 tire I run is the identical weight of the 235/45-17 Goodyear F1-GS D3 I will be running . So thats a wash . The air PSI wont be enuff of a diff to consider . The diameter of the 2 tires are virtually identical within .2" ....so I will not lose one ounce of speed . I do get my full 7 lb weight savings at each corner . And 28 lbs of rotational weight removed = BIG When I swapped to lighter wheels on my trans am , I gained 2 mph and 3 tenths in the 1/4 .

For reference , the stock Rosso 215/45-18 weighs 24 lbs . All weights are from The Tire Rack . They are searchable if u pull up the specs of the tire u select .

The tires I've been looking at weigh about the same or within a pound of the stockers. With that said, I'm looking to save at least 5-6lbs on each corner, gain another 20mm in width for more traction, and look sweet at the same time!

The tires an wheels should weigh in at 41-42lbs max. (depends on tire weight of course)

That's not a bad looking cap from what I can tell. My Tenzo's were worse if it makes you feel any better. You could always paint it or have a custom label made for the center. StreetCustoms could make a nice SS logo I'm sure.
