What did you replace your front emblem with?

I debadged my SS/SC this weekend, and now I am wondering whether I should fill the holes where the front emblem was, or put something else there. I was even thinking of painting my emblem black and putting it back on, though id rather just not have it at all. Just looking for ideas. Does anyone make different logo replacements for that thing?

well i left the chrome trim on it. i just taped it off with blue painters tape. it looks good no doubt.

well when i painted it i first got 1 can of duplicolor high gloss black paint and 1 can of clear coat.

i taped off the areas i didnt want painted (the chrome trim in my case)
then i got 600 grade sand paper and saned the surface
i sanded for about a minute, got all the areas of the bowtie, and then i rinsed water on it to get the dust off. i let it dry and re examined the taped off areas to see if the sanding paper or the water had moved any of it. if so redid the tape and then got in my garage and set the emblems on a mat. after that i sprayed the black paint on it. made sure it got all the areas of the bowtie, and only sprayed for about 5 seconds in all. you go back and forth left and right to get the paint on evenly. did that 4 times in a 3 hour period. then put one coat of clear on the same way

then razored off the areas where i needed to remove the tape and removed the tape. thats to make sure i didnt pull off any of the paint i just put on. and then i was done.

leave about 30-45 min between coats

i'll get pics up later

There was a group buy on steeringwheel badges. You could customize it to anything you wanted. Guess you miss'd that one

I love the chevy emblem

but gold on a black car just looks to much like a pimp thing for me.

SS = chevy too. i dont know any other car companys that use the SS logo.

The front bowtie has two nuts on the backside that need to be removed. It doesn't just pop off.
