The Right To Appeal an Infraction

I think its appropriate to have the right to appeal an infraction if you get one. Seriously if the mod comes in halfway through something do they really get the full story? I think it should be a right to actually appeal an infraction before the point is given to you.

I agree with you.

Locked or Deleted Posts - When a post is locked or deleted, it is for a reason. Do not make another post in continuation of the locked or deleted posts or your account is subject to being suspended. Do not make a new post demanding explanation of why a post was locked or deleted. If you would like explanation of a closed or deleted post, respectfully e-mail the moderators.

Banned Users – When a user is banned, it is for a reason. Do not make posts asking why a member was banned. If you would like to know why someone was banned, respectfully e-mail the moderators. If you are banned for any period of time, do not register with another username to make a point. If you do, we will permanently deny you access to this website. Do not make “I’m back” posts after your ban is lifted. Doing so will result in another ban or permanent suspension of your account.

This is in no way dealing with Twizted. This is in no way about banning. This is about the so called "warnings" that mods give out when its obvious to see they can't get the entire story.

We know the rules, this thread is an attempt to make the process more democratic by actually getting the real story and not only what a mod would see.

My rule of thumb for internet forums is:

As soon as you start caring about how a forum is moderated or who does and doesn't get special treatment, you've been spending way too much time there. Turn off computer. Go do something else.

Not if you dont let it get to you. If what I said manages to **** anyone off, its because they realize that they ARE spending way to much time here.

I object.

I've noted SEVERAL threads that stayed open for hours when they contained pornographic imagery accessible to minors which is ILLEGAL in any state and the site can be prosecuted for it. Theres also of course the threads they let go forever until finally enough people complain. Or persons that generate problems that go on for a long time without so much of a warning.

And maybe certain members think other members are on the site to long, or maybe certain members care to much about the site, but to those members maybe they love the site to care about it.

Lets try to keep this on topic however, this is something I would really like to see implemented in the future.

Its all a matter of opinion. What you think is "too much time" for someone else could be time well spent.

Well I know what you mean. This forum is great to kill time on all day. Its what I do almost half the time I'm at work, lol. It's when you start to get your buttons pushed that you need to just back off. Otherwise you just end up with a lot of unnecessary stress. Keep in mind I'm not even commenting on the job the mods are doing. I prefer not to go there.

I usually stay logged in all day being that I work at a desk job, and I come online to check and see whats going on. Which I can imagine most people to something similar.

and btw, I must say this is the most civil thread that I have been posting on in a while.

Thats not at all true, this is a serious topic I would like to have JonyyB see or some of the mods.

As for me being a mod, it will never happen, I **** way to many people off and make my name known around the site. I even **** mods off from time to time. So dont look for me to become a mod.

yea what rally said. you also didnt have to make a new thread saying how much you want to leghump the mods either... we just need more mods that are online alot of the time and that are considerate to others.
